Meridian

Business systems & operations

We find what's slowing your business down, and build the fix.

Meridian looks at how your work actually gets done — then replaces the parts that cost you time.

Chapter one · the mess

Most businesses are not short of effort. They are short of a system.

The spreadsheets multiply. The follow-up depends on someone remembering. The Monday report gets rebuilt by hand, again.

Chapter two · the fix

We go in, find it, build it, and stay on to keep it working.

Diagnosis first. Then the build — by the same people who did the diagnosis, in the tools you already have.

Built around the work

The system has to fit the business on a busy Tuesday.

Small businesses do not need another layer of software to manage. They need fewer handoffs, cleaner information and a process people can still follow when the day gets crowded.

These are editorial photographs of working small-business environments, not Meridian clients. Client work is shown separately and only to the level permission and evidence allow.

What we get called about

Not a technology problem. A process nobody went back and fixed.

  • 01A report someone rebuilds by hand every Monday morning.
  • 02Leads that come in and then sit, because nobody owns the follow-up.
  • 03The same information typed into three different systems.
  • 04Quotes and invoices that live in one person's inbox.
  • 05Spreadsheets only one person really understands.
  • 06Approvals stuck in an email thread nobody is watching.
  • 07A website that looked current four years ago.
  • 08No clear view of what actually happened last month.

What we do

Six kinds of work. One team that does all of it.

You don't need a strategy deck and a separate implementation vendor. We diagnose, build, put it into use, and support it afterwards.

01

Business process improvement

We map how work moves through your business, find where it stalls, and redesign the steps creating the delay.

  • Workflow analysis
  • Bottlenecks
  • SOPs
  • Operational cleanup
02

Automation & practical AI

Repetitive work handed to software. AI where it genuinely helps — reading documents, drafting replies, sorting requests.

  • Task automation
  • Document processing
  • Lead workflows
  • Internal assistants
03

Data & reporting

The numbers you need, on a schedule, without anyone assembling them. We consolidate the sources first.

  • Dashboards
  • Weekly reporting
  • KPI automation
  • Spreadsheet modernisation
04

Customer operations

What happens between a customer's first message and the work being booked. Most lost revenue goes missing in that gap.

  • CRM setup
  • Lead workflows
  • Follow-up
  • Scheduling
05

Back office

Estimates, invoices, AR follow-up, document routing — the administrative work that quietly consumes a week.

  • AR follow-up
  • Document routing
  • Estimates & invoices
  • Internal reporting
06

Digital presence & growth

The website, listings and reviews that decide whether someone calls you or the next result down.

  • Websites
  • Conversion
  • Local presence
  • Reputation

How we work

Five steps. You see the diagnosis before you commit to the build.

01

Understand

How the business actually runs today — not the org-chart version.

02

Diagnose

Where time and money go, and which fixes are worth doing first.

03

Build

Same team. No handoff to someone who was not in the room.

04

Implement

Into real use, people trained, the old process retired.

05

Improve

We stay on. Systems drift, and month two always teaches us something.

Selected work · HVAC distributor, Georgia

A live storefront whose catalogue had drifted from the equipment it described.

Model numbers were wrong, images carried another retailer's watermark, and efficiency ratings were advertised as fixed figures for equipment whose real rating depends on what it is paired with.

  • PlatformWordPress & WooCommerce
  • ShopReturned to the live catalogue
  • BuiltSearch & filtering by model, type, tonnage
  • Product dataVerified, or left empty — never estimated
  • Efficiency claimsInventoried and corrected

Unsupported efficiency figures were removed rather than replaced with a more flattering number. No business outcome has been measured yet — when it has, it will appear with the evidence behind it.
