Privacy policy

Plain language about what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Discretion is one of our five values; this page is where it becomes an obligation.

1. What we collect

Meridian AI Studio ("Meridian", "we") collects only what you give us and the minimum needed to run this site:

  • Contact and intake information. What you submit through the intake form or send by email: your name, company, role, phone or WhatsApp number, budget range, and the description of what you need.
  • WhatsApp correspondence. If you message us on WhatsApp, we hold that conversation — your number, your messages, and ours.
  • Basic analytics. Once analytics are enabled on this site, we will collect standard usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type). No analytics are running today; this policy will be updated when that changes.

We do not collect payment card details through this website, and we never ask for passwords.

2. Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to prepare proposals, and — if we work together — to form and perform a contract with you. We also keep records where the law requires it. That is the full list. We do not use your information for advertising to third parties.

3. Legal basis

We process personal data on the bases recognised by the UAE Personal Data Protection Law: your consent (when you contact us or submit the form), the necessity of processing to enter into or perform a contract with you, and compliance with legal obligations that apply to us. You may withdraw consent at any time; doing so does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to 24 months after our last exchange in case you come back. Contract and engagement records are kept for the period required by UAE commercial and tax law. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted.

5. No sale of data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. To anyone. Ever.

6. Third-party processors

We currently use no third-party data processors beyond the infrastructure that hosts this site. When messaging or analytics services are provisioned (for example WhatsApp Business or a web analytics platform), they will be listed here by name before they handle your data, together with what they receive. WhatsApp itself is operated by Meta; messages you send us there are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

7. UAE data protection law

Meridian operates from the United Arab Emirates and aligns its handling of personal data with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the UAE PDPL): data is collected for stated purposes, kept accurate, held no longer than needed, and protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the PDPL, you can ask us for:

  • Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — fixing data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Deletion — erasure of your data where we have no legal duty to keep it.

We respond to rights requests within one business day of receipt and resolve them as quickly as the request allows.

9. Privacy requests

10. Governing law and changes

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. When we change it, we update the date at the top of this page; material changes to how we use data you have already given us will be communicated to you directly.
